Delayed

So, I got a message from support saying that the courier didn’t take my glasses for shipping.

The courier will pick up my glasses tomorrow and deliver them.

Man, I’ve already been waiting 21 days.

If you’ve waited a long time, wait a bit more.

My Glasses Have Shipped

So, not to make this blog only about blogs, I will include some posts about my life.

Just recently, I received an email that my glasses have been shipped. I will receive them maybe tomorrow or the day after tomorrow.

So, that’s nice.

PS: I’m getting my first cravings for smoking.

Loss Of Privacy

I lost my privacy years ago.

So, the loss of privacy is a downside of blogging.

You can’t be a blogger and stay private—it doesn’t work that way. Blogging has always been a social business, and today it’s a rockstar business.

If you start blogging, you will lose your privacy. Maybe that’s good, maybe that’s bad.

Constant Updates

While writing a blog, you can get exhausted by the need to constantly update it.

If you rely solely on Google traffic, then you will need to write a lot of blog posts.

It can get exhausting.

Back in the day, 100 blog posts were enough to get a decent amount of traffic, while today you need way more than that.

The rules of the game have changed, people’s behavior online has changed, and probably the only one who’s going to read your blog will be AI.

I personally don’t know if it’s worth it, but for me it is.

Blogging is a full-time job, even when it’s just a hobby.

You don’t have to spam like I do, but I will get further in the blogosphere than you.

If you want to be seen, you need a lot of content.

The Search

You know, the internet is searched 24/7 by people—it never sleeps.

That’s why you can make a blog and get views all the time when you position it right.

A view here and there—it adds up.

Sure, you might not have millions of views, but hundreds or thousands is really possible.

Although I don’t know if you’ll make money with a blog; personally, I make some from donations. A donation here and there—it adds up.

If you want to get more views on your blog, do some keyword research and actually write about things people are searching for.

I’ll try

So, starting now, I’m moving from cigarillos to nicotine mouth spray—this time, I will make a serious attempt.

You know, sometimes you give in to smoking. That’s a shame; if I had known smoking is such crap, I would have never started in the first place.

So, okay—let’s do it seriously.

Worst blog

Having the worst blog is better than having no blog. Blogs are used to connect with other people or bloggers. The worst case isn’t a bad blog—it’s no blog.

Even if you have no writing skills, if you stick with your blog, you’ll get good at it, and some people will read it.

Blogging makes you think before you say something online. A blog can be about almost anything—that’s cool. Blogs are cheap to run, easy to maintain, and give you something to do in your spare time so you won’t go insane from boredom.

Blogger’s life

A blogger’s life is really wonderful, but it doesn’t pay any money—that’s the only downside.

You wake up, make some tea or coffee, turn on your computer, and you’re free to write almost anything throughout the day.

I like the blogger’s life so much that I am a blogger myself; there’s no better work than being a blogger.

As I said, the only downside is that it doesn’t pay, but it’s real work you do for yourself—everything you do for yourself doesn’t pay, no matter the work.

If it made money, then it would be my dream career. Everybody would like to write blog posts in their underwear and make money.

Publishing platform

A blog is just a publishing platform; it doesn’t do much on its own—it attracts people if it has good content.

The internet has lots of good blogs, but people don’t have the attention to read them all. That’s why some blogs get no traffic.

So, if you want to publish your musings—start a blog! It’s still better than social media.

Blog posts never expire

Unlike social media, where your posts have a few hours to get attention and then are hidden, blog posts never expire.

That’s the beauty of blogging—everything you do on a blog compounds.

Many people do too much work on social media, when they could instead build their blogs.

On social media, you rent the space, while on a blog—you own it.

If you want to build a presence online—start a blog!
