If you want to eat plain popcorn then getting a popcorn popper is one of the best investments for popping kernels.

The downside is that basic popcorn poppers splash popcorn everywhere, when I bought my popper I didn’t expect it. So make sure your popper has some cover or something, otherwise some popcorn will be all around the kitchen.
