When you create content you really don’t have to target anybody, because you don’t know who the ‘target’ is, so writing freely and naturally makes sense.
Even if you don’t get all the potential traffic from the web.
Many people are pressured to think that a blog is a failure if it doesn’t make any money.
A blog can be a place to share your experiences and thoughts, people long kept diaries before even Google existed. Nobody had seen those diaries.
And some diaries are now very interesting reflections of the old times.
So to sum up: you don’t have to target anybody, and your blog doesn’t have to make money and still be successful.
You know most bloggers do not make money unless they sell their souls for capital gains.
