Blog content can get you views for years, when the same content on Facebook and other social media dies really fast. When you blog on a blog you’re actually building something long term.

Sure, blogs grow slower, but they last longer.

And on blogs the algorithm doesn’t control what and when gets seen.

Your blog can be reached via search, via direct, via email, via RSS and there are many search engines, also you can get some social media views if somebody shares your article.

Views is a bonus on a blog, also there is more ways you can monetize your blog traffic.

But it needs patience, you just can’t get all the views in day one unless you share your blog to social media with high following or you have a huge email list.

If you don’t have any existing audience, it grows very slow – at snail’s pace.
